Prof. Dr. Michael Ekow Manuel
Prof. Dr. Micheal Ekow Manuel is a professor at the World Maritime University (WMU), where he is the Academic Dean and Nippon Foundation Chair. He is the patron of the WMU Africa & Caribbean Student Association (ACSA), bringing a rich history in the maritime industry and expertise in multiple areas of maritime education to the WMU Student Community.
Prof. Dr. Micheal Ekow Manuel is also a former student member of the WMU Africa & Caribbean Student Association (ACSA) community, where he gained first-hand experience of the perspective of African and Caribbean students within the WMU’s Multicultural environment. Through his work he has promoted cultural integration among students and equitable management, and influenced the views of future maritime leaders, driving positive change in the global maritime industry. The student community is deeply grateful and thankful for the continuous support, and guidance as we navigate the future of maritime affairs.
